seeks input on 'Ethics in the Information Society'

WACC partner said it is looking for ideas, reactions and proposals related to its new discussion paper, "Ethics in the Information Society: the Nine 'P's. A Discussion Paper for the WSIS+10 Process 2013-2015. The paper analyzes ways information, communication and knowledge can be used in order to strengthen ethical development and avoid unethical consequences.

The text is a contribution to the 2013-2015 WSIS +10 review process for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), which is taking stock of the original WSIS meetings in Geneva (2003) and Tunis (2005) and making proposals for post-2015 goals.

Nine core issues of the information and knowledge society are highlighted: the "Nine 'P's": principles, participation, people, profession, privacy, piracy, protection, power and policy.
