Using NICTs to strengthen ecumenical networks in Peru |

This is a project for which WACC is currently seeking a co-funding partnership. Instituto Bartolomé de Las Casas (IBC) intends to promote new information and communication strategies along ecumenical and theological lines that include establishing the Virtual Library of the Ecumenical Network of Theological Information, training of young social communicators committed to defending human rights, and radio programmes that stress ecumenical dialogue and the defence of life. The project seeks to offer an alternative to the non-existence of tools for research, communication, dialogue and ecumenical action in Peru. Similarly, it will focus on the development of human capacities and action in networks, both virtual and real, that work from an ecumenical perspective. The training will focus on young communicators, mainly women, from zones that are difficult to access and lack education and communication services. Contact: Sra.
