Religious leaders workshop report |

A two days non-residential workshop was organised for religious leaders in the Manya Krobo district on stigma and discrimination against persons infected and affected with HIV and AIDS. The District Coordinator for the district Gertrude Narkie Tetteh expressed her gratitude to the Chairman of the district council of churches and all other religious leaders present for responding to the call to be part of the workshop and gave them a brief background of the project. She said religious leaders were major partners in the programme and has a major role to play in the fight against stigma and discrimination against persons living with HIV and AIDS in the community and thus the workshop is to equip them for the task.
