Through ITCs new and stronger links between women detained in prisons throughout the Buenos Aires province, stronger links between the women detained and the outside world.
Through ITC women detained have discussed among themselves and put forward to the authorities ideas to modify concrete points of the laws that regulate the conditions of their detention.
Audiovisual ‘Argentinean women 2008’, produced and edited by the women themselves which led to discussions outside prison on issues such as motherhood and health inside prisons.
Workshop on Judicial Literacy for inmates which included the rights of HIV positive women and men in prison.
Creation of web page which portrays the work of the Association in favour of women detainee in the last 18 years.
Organisation of forum on ‘University and Prison’ with the participation of academics that teach in some of the prisons and several other human rights organisation.
Increased number of radio programmes produced by women detainee which are broadcast through the University of La Plata radio station (http:www.1r.1.com.ar/web/am.html) .
30 women detainee enrolled in long-distance courses offered by the University Nacional of La Plata. One of the 30 has been granted judicial permission to attend classes in person at the University.
