The European Region of the World Association for Christian Communication condemns unequivocally the attack on the offices of the Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris on 7 January and reiterates its support for press and media freedom. We extend our sympathy to the families, friends and colleagues of the victims. We join with the representatives of all religions who have condemned this attack and reaffirm our belief in a Europe where those of all faiths may live and work together in peace.
