Communication and Indigenous People in Northern Argentina

Recognizing and Building Communication Rights

Argentina

Increased production skills have facilitated the production of programmes in three indigenous languages: wichí, chorote and toba. The project led to an increase in the number of radio programmes concerning legal issues and how the different laws affect the indigenous peoples of Argentina, many more radio programmes dealing with issues of land ownership, and improved quality of radio output due to better quality equipment.
